The purpose of this article is to explore the feminist philosophical contributions of Francesca Gargallo Celentani. It adopts her dialogical method for engaging in philosophy from the perspective of Abya Yala/Our America, focusing on two critiques she developed throughout her work: critiques of patriarchy and racism. The first section begins with an account of some personal experiences with the philosopher and writer. The second section addresses Gargallo’s critique of whiteness and patriarchy, which underpin the «privileges» of the racist and sexist social order. In the third section, stemming from the issue of colonialism, a dialogue is opened with her critique of the nation-state and other «Indigenous» critiques, such as the Indigenist perspective. The idea of «stateless nations» allows for the intersection of these critiques. The essay concludes by presenting some strategies for dismantling patriarchy and resolving the disagreements between «Indianism» and feminism, drawing on the contributions of the «Indianist» intellectual Hilda Reinaga.
