Resumen

En este texto llamo comunicación afectiva bio-mediada a la articulación de recursos orgánicos de procesamiento y respuesta de información implicados en procesos materiales que conectan cuerpos humanos. En la primera sección me concentro en las capacidades comunicativas de los cuerpos expresadas a través de la sugestión, la mimesis y el contagio en sus diversas modalidades; discuto los linajes teóricos de estos conceptos y los enmarco como formas de transmisión afectiva en los estudios del afecto. En la segunda sección ilustro dos efectos raciales de la comunicación bio-mediada en el contexto de la producción afectiva de la colonización: los registros afectivos y propensiones relacionales de los cuerpos morenos hacia sí mismos y otros grupos raciales.
